No, I haven’t gone completely bonkers, I know that Christmas is done and dusted. I put away the last of the decorations yesterday and only have these left…
Amazingly they are still flowering, didn’t kill them off as quickly as I usually do… 😉
The kids are in bed early tonight (back to school tomorrow – boo!) so it’s time to review my Flylady Holiday Control Journal (if that’s new jargon for you, see all the other Christmas planning posts, we kicked-off back in October) and make a few notes for Christmas 2010. What worked, what didn’t work etc.
If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know that things went swimmingly and we had a fantastic Christmas this year! 🙂 I was really pleased with the fact that I had planned out all the dinners (and a few extra options) in advance. Especially as we had (at least) four (and some days 8) e-x-t-r-a people in the house for 10 days and the supermarkets are closed in Denmark from the evening of 23 December to the morning of 27 December. But there was no stress!! Next year I’m going to plan some lunch options too – like crockpot lasagne or crockpot minestrone, besides the run-of-the-mill sarnies and rolls we usually eat.
So a quick review and a bit of forward planning..that’s what I’m going to do before I put my Holiday Control file back on the shelf until the late autumn. You might want to do the same! [hint, hint]
So an official thank you and a big {{{hug}}} to my Christmas planning partners-in-crime:

It’s been fun and I can wait to do it all again! Nite! 🙂
I have been told off because I have already decided that Top Ender and Baby Boy are going to have a playset for the garden this Christmas!
旁觀自己的悲傷是解脫,主觀自己的悲傷是更加悲傷…………………………………………..
Hi Pippa! Great idea with the playset…but have you thought how you are going to hide it?! 😉
Oh… erm… Don't suppose you could knock up a huge vist to go out side of my kitchen window and Top Enders Bedroom window could you?
