Good morning from (currently sunny) Copenhagen! Wednesday is here, my Morning Routine is done and I’m looking forward to coaching client meetings today — always a highlight of my day! Coming up in today’s post… I have some Wednesday reminders and productivity ideas for you, plus a 5-star book recommendation!

For those of you who are doing the Flylady system with me, today is Anti-Procrastination Day! Pick one thing you’ve been putting off — replying to an email, booking a dentist appointment, sewing on a button, writing your menu plan — and just do it! Tackling these small tasks clears our mental clutter and gives us a productive midweek boost! I’ve just booked my doctor’s appointment online – woo hoo – go me! (Does anyone else dread making phone calls or is it just me? I love that my dental, doctor, hair appointments, etc, can be made online these days!)

Difficulty getting started on tasks? Set a timer to keep you focused for those important first couple of minutes. Once we have the momentum going, it gets easier!

If you’re new to cleaning or feeling overwhelmed with your home or business, I have a great YouTube video which walks you through getting started with the Flylady system (hands down, the best way to organize your life).
As always, remember to look after yourself today! Add a little of our Danish hygge to your day – it’s as simple as taking a few minutes to enjoy the small things. See it as giving yourself a little hug. For me, self-care means coffee in one of my favourite mugs after my morning cold plunge…

Or carving out time with a good book! I recently finished The Marble Hall Murders by Anthony Horowitz (the final book in the Susan Ryeland trilogy). Yet another 5-star read from him! How does Anthony Horowitz continue to do it?! The audiobook is magnificent, I loved the narration. Make sure to start with the first book, Magpie Murders, then read Moonflower Murders, to enjoy the full mystery ride! (Since my Mum died, this time last year, I find it easier to listen to books rather than reading. My concentration has gone a bit wobbly. Marble Hall Murders is an 18-hour long audiobook and I loved every minute and didn’t want it to end!)

That’s it for today! Wishing you a calm, productive, and brilliant Wednesday!
Hugs
