We’ve had more snow today. Not loads of the stuff, thankfully, because we’ve already got tons of it lying around the place. The local council has even had to find new places for dumping it. (Because you can’t just dump snow which might contain petrol residue, doggie doo and general rubbish into the sea.) But, as usual, I digress π
The Flylady always encourages us to look on the bright side. And I found one just now, while preparing the starter for good friends who are coming for dinner.
No place in the fridge for all that lovely food? Just open the back door and make use of Mother Nature’s own refrigerator…

We stuck our bottles of bubbly in a snowbank right outside the door one Christmas -worked great!
Ooo, good one! I should have put the gin and tonic bottles out there too! π
Don't you just love the bright side?
I've done this before and now use a camping cooler to keep the snow off the items. I use the cooler since I'm a total SHE and in the spring have found a few lost treasures. Not pleasant at all!
Found you from Leslie's blog and recognized your name from chat at Blog talk Radio. So hi!
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer!
Look forward to meeting you again in Chat sometime soon! I'm missing Leslie's show today because I'm on a short trip to Sweden. Thanks for stopping by! π
