Celebrating, Shenanigans & We Are Almost There!

I’m STILL celebrating my birthday from June! Why have one birthday celebration when you can stretch the fun out for months? Ha ha! This time I headed into Copenhagen with my Bestie Erika for a champagne lunch at Ravage Bistro, on Kongens Nytorv, right by Nyhavn harbour. I’ve been coming here for many, many years and I just love the buzz of the place, always great service and fabulous food. As you know, Erika is my partner in crime for shenanigans in the city!

Ravage have a great breakfast menu, and all the bistro classics for lunch and dinner. Erika chose the salade nicoise which she said was as good as the one she had in Nice! Very pretty plate.

I had the beef tartare. My go-to favourite!

And we shared a portion of fries (forgot to take a photo but they were as good as my granny’s chips!). And, of course, they always give you a basket of bread and butter. Look at that cute butter package!

We washed it all down with a chilled glass of birthday bubbles. And we even had a teeny tiny space for dessert!

Erika went for the lemon tart, delicious! That’s usually my first choice too but…

I couldn’t resist the pavlova with fresh cream and red berries! Nom! (Did you see my post about haggis and pavlova earlier this week?!)

And your weekend mission? Do something nice for YOU. Meet a friend, go somewhere you love, have the nice lunch, read your book, go for a swim. Whatever makes you happy!
