Happy Wednesday – we’re halfway through the week! Life may be feeling wonderfully busy right now (perhaps a wee bit stressful?) but a few simple routines, a little summer planning and – last but not least – time for something you enjoy can help keep you balanced and smiling! Join me for a summer catch-up from Copenhagen (I’m filming down at the beach today) as I share what’s been happening with our house move and my new DJ hobby. Plus some reminders to make time for the small pleasures that make life hygge!
Have you lost the plot? Drink a glass of water, breathe and get everything that’s going on in your head down on paper. Then move forward from there…

Have a fabulous day, wherever you are in the world!
Hugs

Add Yours →Diane, thank you so much for the update. It’s lovely to see you occasionally and be inspired. Best wishes on your house, and have a lovely summer. 🌞⛱️🍓🍦
Good for you, Diane to take the DJ class. It is a good diversion from everything else going on. Plus, you like to dance and that must be a big destressor!
June is going by so fast. I know it just started! You must not have to much to declutter. Good for you to do a little bit every day, over the years. But, maybe now, as you pick up each piece to pack, you might be thinking, ” I should pass this on.”
Take good care of yourself.

Hello Diane! Your hair looks terrific. I have followed you for a lot of years and really enjoy your tips of keeping what we can control on track around our home and such.
My day does not begin until I make my bed, empty the dishwasher, empty the garbage and start a load of laundry, water the plants and feed the dog. Once a week, I will try to add a very small project that makes the house look better but takes less than 10 minutes… For example, getting a white sponge and a damp rag to wipe the smudges and marks off the walls, baseboards and doors. Also another quick project is scrubbing the threshold in front of the doors and touchup painting the trim. One more for me: my old dark kitchen cabinets have been professionally painted. About once a quarter, I take a teeny paintbrush and touchup the little chips along the edges that have come off and it just keeps everything looking nice and tidy. One more thing I do for summer is plan super easy meals. There are so many good ideas online… Like tacos, throw a pizza in the oven, chopped salad with chicken strips or sub sandwich salad, BLTs, etc..
Good luck getting everything ready for the move!
