Spooky Halloween Dip with the Copenhagen Bluetits!

Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a fun (and maybe a little spooky!) weekend?

A person wearing a flowing black outfit walks barefoot on a dock towards the sea under a cloudy sky.

My Bluetits Chill Swimmers peeps fully entered into the spirit of things with a fun, spooky Halloween dip in the sea last Saturday! The water was cold (as always!) and our outfits were a little crazy…

Watch out for itsy bitsy spiders trying to snaffle the freshly-baked bread rolls!

I threw together a last-minute “ghost pizza” for our post-dip snack (cut out little ghost shapes from slices of Danbo cheese and popped them on a tortilla). So simple and quite cute! I also cut out jack o’ lantern shapes from salami.

Was very cold but here we are, still smiling!

This gory hand has been following me around everywhere this week, ha, ha!

In the evening, I polished my halo, donned a lot of sparkle and went to a fancy dress party at a friend’s house. There was a quiz (guess whose team won?!) and we danced until the wee small hours…

Such a great weekend with friends! Hope you had fun this weekend too!

Oh, and don’t forget to meet me back here tomorrow for Week Three of our Minimalist Christmas series! We’re keeping things cozy, calm, and clutter-free as we count down to the holidays, woo hoo! I’m off to eat the last spooky clementine…

Lovely! We carved pumpkins as a party last weekend, so I’ve been lighting them since then; another night or two! I made a confetti cake, and then put Halloween sprinkles on it! It’s my favorite easy, unexpected sweet to take along to a Halloween potluck. Congrats on winning that quiz! I think I’m going to look up how to make your risotto again, and put it on the menu this week. The weather has turned, and we’ve put the heat on.

Love your orange tassel earrings, the ghost pizza (Danbo! yummm), and your angel costume! When I glanced at the subject line and saw “Halloween dip” I didn’t see it was from you, and thought it was like dip for chips! haha But it’s much more fun to have pictures from Diane of a Bluetits sea dip. Wish I were a Chillswimmer with you! Looking forward to tomorrow’s video!

Need to mention the spooky spider… my husband used to “terrorize” me with one of these… he’d put it in the bathtub before my shower, etc. It’s funny now!

What a great time you all had!! I love how you all really get into the spirit 👻. Good fun in all your photos 😊🤗

I love seeing all of your posts about enjoying time with your friends. They are so uplifting. Fun Halloween ideas too.
