What’s the most fun or unusual thing you’ve done lately for self-care? Sunday night’s fun and games at the beach with my Copenhagen Bluetits gang—howling at the Blood Moon and Total Eclipse. I love these (rather looney) lunar ladies!

The Flylady system reminds us to take care of ourselves—not just our homes. For me, my non-negotiables are getting outside every day, moving my body, and sharing a hygge moment with friends. Sunday night’s sea swim under the Blood Moon with my Copenhagen Bluetits peeps was just the kind of self-care that fills me with energy for the week ahead!

Though I have to say that the Blood Moon was slightly eclipsed by Sarah-jane’s stupendous Gin & Lemon Cake, ha ha! She always turns out a good Lemon Cake (and Rum Cake, and Tarte Tatin, etc, etc!) but she outdid herself on Sunday night! Memorable bakes too from Angela (Spinach Puffs), Beccy (Flapjacks) and Martha (Choc chip cookies). Nom nom nom. Washed down with a teeny tiny tipple of Estonian rum (which I brought back from Tallinn last year, after competing at the Winter Swimming World Championships together with my friends Erika and Jen) and lots of hot tea in our tin mugs. Pro Tip: Forget fancy thermos cups—tin mugs are perfect because they warm your hands while you sip!

We also had some visitors joining us from afar this weekend! Tanja’s friend from Stavanger, Norway and two Shropshire Bluetits, from England, UK. Memories made!

This morning I was back in the water with my Danish Besties, Vibeke and Helene. And enjoyed a quick cuppa tea and some fresh fruit from Vibeke’s garden. Just a few minutes spent together but we always feel refreshed afterwards!

What about you? What are you doing today—or this week—for your own self-care? It doesn’t have to be big or fancy. A short walk, an early night with a book (my favourite!), a text to a friend you haven’t seen for a while. It all counts!

Tonight my self-care will be curling up and watching more sessions from this year’s Get Organized Conference. It’s not too late to grab your FREE TICKET—the conference runs until Saturday! Here’s what you can look forward to on Thursday…

How fun 🤩
You always inspire me to enthusiasm about pretty much everything. It’s your energy. It comes through with every word you utter.! <3
I have been enjoying the Get Organized HQ presentations, and would recommend to you “Tips for Senior Downsizing.” I found Tracy to be informative and compassionate.
Diane, I think I accidentally re-sent something from my Instagram to yours. Many apologies. Please delete. Insta looks strange these days; is it just me?
