I think that we must have a psychic connection. Just last week, I went through all of my garden tools, plant pots and outside decor items. I won’t need them for another two months but wanted to tidy and declutter the area in the basement where I store them for the winter.

I have until the end of May to really feel like spring. We have really long winters. Oct-May. I am thinking about starting seeds soon for my garden. Can’t plant until frost risk is over May 18th ish.

Thank you for the reminder to use what we have. It’s so tempting to purchase new products even though we don’t need them. Been watching your videos for years now and with your guidance cleared out most of the house 15 minutes at a time. Scrapbooking supplies and my kids items (old toys and clothes) have been areas that prove most difficult for me. Thanks for all your support and good luck with selling the house.

Hi, Diane. 🌷 I’m going to follow your lead and eat through the premium meats and prepared dishes in our big freezer. We buy in bulk (canny Southerner!) and freeze half—then we forget it’s there. Gonna retrieve these high-value items and use them up. This strategy will also limit trips to the grocery, now that gas prices are expected to skyrocket. Thanks for helping us think through these ways to de-clutter mindfully, not frantically. Cheers!
