Quick and easy task today! 2026 Reset | Day 13

Are you still with me? This is Week Three of our 2026 Reset for A Better Life and I am giving you little prompts each day. Just a few minutes working somewhere around the house to make things better than before. We are not cleaning ALL the things. We are not reorganising the WHOLE house. We are not getting OVERWHELMED. We are having fun and feeling POSITIVE about our homes and lives. Well, that’s my hope for you, ha ha! Today’s task might make you feel a bit nervous, but we are going to set our timers and do it!

Need some more directions or want me to hold your hand and chat to you while we work? If today’s tiny task doesn’t apply to you, then set your timer and do anything you like in Flylady Zone 3, the bathroom or one other room. For example, the garden shed, your office, the guest bedroom. Here’s a list of ideas of what to clean, tidy or declutter.

A list titled 'Zone 3 - bathroom (plus one other area)' outlining cleaning, restocking, decluttering, and seasonal project tasks for a bathroom, including detailed instructions for each category.

See my YouTube series for hygge home inspiration!

Have a wonderful Wednesday! Timers at the ready!

Hi Diane and everybody, from Belgium. Thank you for your positive energy and motivation every day! I’ve been following along around 10 o’clock daily and to my surprise I did a lot already before you said to do so! For me that is a really big win and such a great feeling. And yes, I’ve been putting off the garbage bins, like probably almost everybody 😅 Lets go!

I’m in SW Ontario Canada, in the middle of a deep freeze! It’s a great time to get things done indoors, achieve a win, then snuggle under a blanket with a good book. Thank you Diane!

Thank you so much. I have been following along since day 1 and it is really making a difference. So easy to do too. Love your channel. Thank you again.

You are just what I need! I love being told what to do – and I do it!
I hope this series will go on for ages.

Still here, in the UK! Loving all these little motivational points in the right direction. Its really made me realise these things don’t take as long as I think they will to make an impact in the home, before watching today and yesterday’s vid (yesterday was a busy day). I had emptied bins, wiped around my downstairs bathroom, tidies my kitchen surfaces all before logging on for work. 3 weeks ago I would have told myself I didn’t have the time! Just having a tea break and catching up and will spend 10 mins on the main bathroom over lunch. Thank you Diane

Good morning from Southwest Florida, USA. Loving these short and sweet videos with doable projects! Going under the kitchen sink today since you inspired me. Yeah!

Good morning from chilly and snowy Pennsylvania.
I have several reasons NOT to do the task today – significant (hopefully temporary) health issue and a major project for my work that needs to be finished by Friday morning. But I CAN do 10 minutes in my bathroom. I will set a timer and just do it. Thanks Diane!

Joining from south central Illinois, USA. Love this series and have been watching (and doing) since the beginning. I just finished completing the bathroom ‘reset’ (major declutter, cleaning cabinets and re-setting items I use regularly). and a PUPA and floor clean in the bedroom. Decided it was time for a break and some Diane in Denmark positive encouragement (rah! rah! rah!). Yesterday after the task, I watched (again) one of your wardrobe minimizing videos that is encouraging me to go a little deeper with a declutter and a ‘re-think’ there. I am so grateful for you and what you do – thank you!!

Thank you Diane! This is has been so helpful! I live Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was away from home December 16th to January 11th. My Mother had two hard heart attacks and two stents put in. Arriving back home was hard as we were still tending to my parents long distance and catching up on things at home. It has such a blessing to me to follow your videos as much as I could so that I was not overwhelmed.! Thanks again for all you do!

Hi Diane, Thank you for the 2026 Resets. Yes, I am still with you!! Sometimes lagging a little behind but covering all the resets and doing as much as possible. Yesterday a trip to the dentist took me back a little but I’m catching up! Big virtual hug, Annie x

I came home very late and not in a good mood. I cleaned out the bin for paper for recyclling. Isn’t this a heroic job :=).
We live in Bavaria and it is eight o’clock at night.

I picked the bathroom bin, and that is done! So, while I was in there, I put some citric acid powder in the toilet to remove the mineral buildup so I could scrub it out later. Then I thought I might as well spend a few minutes in there since I have a friend coming on Friday. Thanks for the morning motivation!!

I tackled our tall kitchen trash bin, and all I can say is EWWWWW! 😝 I should have shoved it through a pressurized carwash to remove all the grunge. Won’t let it go so long between cleanings again. On the other hand, the entire task took under three minutes, so staying on top of it going forward should be a snap. These reset tasks continue to reinforce how easy cleaning is if I will just do it. Thank you for that continued awareness, Diane! Cheers.

I’m late today, but I’m washing my compost bucket tonight. Thanks for these continued prompts. They are helping tremendously!
