Arctic seadipping and A Better Life recap! 2026 Reset

Good morning from wonderful Copenhagen, I hope you are all keeping warm out there!

Yesterday was a crazy seadip with my Copenhagen Bluetits Chill Swimmers peeps. The icicles were hanging sideways!

Icicles hanging from a metal railing above a rocky shoreline, with a wooden deck in the foreground.

Safety first! Never dip unless you have researched the conditions, have experience with sea swimming and are familiar with winter swimming protocols. Yesterday we were quickly up and down the ladder because the waves made it very challenging.

Two women smiling for a selfie, wearing winter hats and warm jackets, standing near the water with rocks in the background.

Lots of hot tea and warm – from the oven – æbleskiver (Danish Christmas donuts) provided by Sarah-Jane for our post dip snack.

A hand in a purple glove reaching towards a tray of dough balls dusted with icing sugar, beside a mug with a bird logo. In the background, a parked car and a cooler bag are visible.

Yum!

A woman holding a plate of round pastries dusted with powdered sugar, looking surprised, with another woman in a blue jacket in the background.

And look at this handsome fellow who came to see what we were up to!

A brown dog with a scruffy coat and expressive eyes, standing on a paved surface with a blurred background of people and water.

It was certainly a day to remember. The icicles are so pretty!

A smiling woman wearing a blue winter hat and a bright blue jacket, holding a small Danish flag while standing near icy railings by the sea.

Well below freezing and we are still smiling, ha ha!

January is definitely a good time to cleanse, renew and transform!

Dear Diane, thank you very much for your posts full of positivity and a 2026 reset prompts. These small steps, even done imperfectly, keep me going forward. God Bless you 🙏 ❤️

Thanks Diane ❤️. Yes it’s very warm 37 degrees Celsius Canberra Australia Here’s some ☀️ to warm you up 😊. The icicles are amazing.

Thanks for all the motivation this week Diane. I’ve been able to keep up the momentum at home – feels great 💫 What beautiful icicles ❄️🤍🩵

This has been perfect for me this week as I has a sickness bug and did not feel like doing anything but these short 5 1o 10 minute tasks in between laying on the sofa were perfect and mean that I don’t have to go mad cleaning everything when I feel better

I bet the Christmas Doughnuts and hot tea were very welcome after your bracing dip!
Dull and kind of grey boring weather here in Bath.
Just did my Weekly Upkeep Clean and 15 minutes on Zone 5 ( hope I’ve got the right one🤭 ) as have a busy week ahead.
Now rewarding myself with a cup of tea with my dog calmly snoozing beside me.😊
Thanks for being an inspiration Diane and I’m loving your daily prompts.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you at the kitchen table tomorrow. 🤗xx

Thank you for your daily posts and sharing your wonderful life with us. I’m trying to stay focused on taking care of myself and my home and these little missions you offer are helping me. It’s hard to believe that life will ever be normal again here in the US. The icicles are amazing! Thank you, again!
