Have you lost all hope? Weekend on the horizon! 2026 Reset Day 10

Good morning from wonderful Copenhagen! Have you lost all hope? I’m going to keep it very short and sweet today because the weekend is on the horizon!

Today’s tiny task is all about ending the week well, with a small reset that helps you rest and recharge. Just a few minutes of work right now and your future self will thank you, woo hoo!

Can you believe this is day 10 of our 2026 Reset? Two full weeks working together! I hope you are seeing, and feeling, changes around you.

Hugs

Failed yesterday Diane 🙄 I had to go out early came back in the afternoon. My neighbour came round, my daughter phoned and totally forgot about the fridge task… oh well will do today’s Rita’s first thing😀❤️🙏🏻 Manchester England

You said what I was thinking today?! I was going to wash the bed linen and put it back nice and fresh! (Summer pros to the heat it dries on the line in 1 hr here?! It’s a work out just hanging it out on the line in the heat?!) Fresh sheets! It’s the best feeling?! I’ll dust the bedside tables super quickly too as they do need it but I won’t go overboard! Loving all this progress for the last two weeks!!! Getting on top of things one small victory at a time!! Woohoo!!

Absolutely loving these daily prompt videos! It’s amazing what a difference it makes to mindset and feeling of control (not to mention the state of my house 🙄) that even these tiny tasks make. Thanks so much Diane 💖🤩

Hi Diane, I am so enjoying your daily prompts 😊I am washing up whilst I cook as you mentioned, and yesterday whilst my husband was eating his tea, I ate mine earlier, I found some disposable wipes and cleaned inside parts of the fridge. I made my bed on Monday, so I will be clearing areas in the bedroom. Many thanks Lisa

Preparing for ice storms this weekend, so I’ll change everyone’s bed linens today. Thank you, it will be lovely to sleep in cozy, clean sheets during the storm. I’m glad you’re here to help guide me and keep things simple but clean. Just like you, I love the simple pleasure: getting into clean sheets!

Diane, I have been following you for years! I joined you when you had 4000 followers. I have been participating in the reset the last ten days. What is funny is every prompt you have given I actually did the day before. You have trained me so well! 😍

Good morning from the icy precip zone, Diane! 🥶 I rose early to start laundering all the bed linens in the house—before I’d even seen your clever prompt for the day. I’ve already swaddled the beds in thick, warm flannel sheets ahead of the coming freeze. I agree with you that slipping into a crisply clean bed after a long day is one of life’s sweet indulgences. Bonus points for a skoosh of lavender linen spray and a good British murder mystery (currently The Blind Detective series by Christina Koning). Cheers!

Like many others, I have been preparing the house for the upcoming supposed apocalypse storm. Washing all the sheets today and doing up a little laundry, have already been to the grocery to get a few staples before it got too busy and filled the car up with gas. I too have been following you for a long time and appreciate your cheery attitude and tips to keep an inviting and hygge home

Hi Diane! and others~
We recently washed the sheets etc.
So I will do a PUPA around the bed. And maybe wash the throw on the bed and the pillowcases – just to be nice and fresh!
And like many others here, we are getting ready for the huge storm (snow and ice) predicted here in Pennsylvania.
Have a blessed weekend all.

Oh, yes, I’ve made my bed already…I do that quickly after I get up, thanks to the system. I’ve got to skedaddle pretty quickly, but will put the sheets in the washer before I head out the door.

Happy Friday❣️

Sheets are in the wash! I’m going to do a quick tidy of the bedroom and put on a pot of soup in preparation for the coming winter storm and a relaxing low-cook weekend. Thanks for the extra incentive today, and I hope you have a fabulous weekend in your cozy clean room!

Hello from PA in the USA! I’m absolutely loving these daily visits with you! At the beginning of January, I started sending out tasks to my fellow teachers with small resets for school that come from all the things I’ve learned from you, and FlyLady, and several others online. I’m hoping they are helping them as we build community and work together. I’m loving the ones you send us for home and life; these keep us going!

We are getting ready for a huge snowstorm here, shopping, prepping things outside and in, etc. I stood in line at the grocery store to check out for half an hour! Crazy! But, I didn’t angry or annoyed; I had fun with the people that I met along the way and was able to lighten the mood for others who were not enjoying the experience at first….it was a lovely time by the end. Thank you for helping to instill some joy in those frustrating, mundane moments.

We also live on a farm and the temps are going down to the negatives tonight (-15 degrees Fahrenheit!) so praying any new lambs born will be able to snuggle into the new bedding in the barn tonight to stay safe and warm. All of these little tasks add up and help us find success and peace.

Thank you for cheering us on, and here’s to 18-20 inches of snow! Woohoo!

I was away for a few days so I am doing this few days later. This is so great that I don’t want to miss any of these.
I found few new life forms invading the fridge! But they are terminated now!

Thank you for this series, it is so much fun!
