Ready for Day Four? A quick reminder from me to check in with me at the kitchen table here in Copenhagen. Time whizzes by and we can easily think, oh yes, I’ll do that later. And before we know it, we are already into tomorrow! Yesterday I managed to catch up with my Bestie, Sue, for a quick dip (photos later in this post) and it felt so good to connect and chat for a few minutes. Taking time to slow down and just breathe. But let’s get on to our prompt for today!
I wasn’t always organised, and when I felt overwhelmed it helped so much to have someone tell me exactly what to do. That’s what we’re doing here – one tiny task a day, without overthinking. A better life in 2026 with simple daily prompts – no pressure, just small steps together. Rah, rah, rah!
And as promised, a couple of photos from my skinnydip sea and sauna time with Sue. We first met 25 years ago, through LINK, the international ladies club of Copenhagen.

The sea temperature in Copenhagen is currently 0.5c which is 32f. Very refreshing, ha ha! Yesterday was dark, gloomy and rather foggy.

But it’s always good to catch up for a quick chat! Have you checked in with a friend recently? Send someone a text today and let them know you are thinking of them!

That’s it for today! Have a thrilling Thursday and see you back at the kitchen table tomorrow for Day Five of our 2026 Reset!
Hugs

Add Yours →Popped one of my fave summer dresses out and I’m going to also put out some new earrings and a necklace I bought myself a few weeks ago but haven’t worn yet?! Why not?! 😀
Looking forward to a day off tomorrow! Will set out my clothes and plan to enjoy a more leisurely start to the day.
Thanks Diane! This task is perfect for me.
Tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday and we are planning to go to an aquarium with my other daughter and grandkids.
I’ve had some recent back pain and won’t be walking much, but planning ahead what to wear will give me a boost to celebrating the day with my beloved family. I’m aiming for casual but not sloppy (and layers, since I’m not sure how warm the rooms will be). Maybe rediscover some jewelry I haven’t worn in a while. Have a great day, all!
This is great. Keep up the daily missions. So helpful.
I enjoy sending little cards with quick notes to two of my dearest but now long-distance friends (of 50+ years) regularly; just sent one yesterday. Tomorrow I’ll meet a newer friend for breakfast out and a good chat.
I did that just before I opened your email, Diane! We have had a big dump of snow in southern Ontario🇨🇦 and I was checking in with my nephew in the Ottawa area where they have had it, too. We both will be getting our daily exercise with the snow shovel!😂
I put a Snoopy badge on my jumper. X
I’ve selected my outfit for a meeting tomorrow. In the morning, I’ll add a silk scarf that suits my mood for the day—bright and playful or briskly professional. Off now to meet my workout buds at the gym. I’ll suggest we set a time for a post-workout cuppa and catch-up at a local café. This is fun, Diane!
All ready for tomorrow. I’ll be wearing a sweater I always think is too nice to just wear around the house.
I have so many clothes that I label “too good for daily wear”!
You’ve inspired me to get on and wear some of them. Not tomorrow because it’s a yoga day but Saturday for definite.
Thank you 🙏
Hi Diane 👋
Because tomorrow is a yoga morning there’s not much to get ready, so I went back to my bathroom (after cleaning the counter yesterday) and I’ve cleaned and tidied it all! Washed towels and bath mats, cleaned the shower, all of it 😊
I gave myself full permission to stop if I felt like I was going to crash and burn, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it! 🤭
donating magazines. That’s the clearing surfaces project. Rah Rah Rah!

I will start on the extra makeup that needs to go….
I’ve set out my outfit for work tomorrow with a necklace and a bracelet.
Outfit ready for tomorrow and it only took a few minutes! It will save me time in the morning but more importantly, stops the decision fatigue. Thanks Diane. 💕
Wow. I picked my coffee table as my 1 place to clean up. Funny enough, I’m cleaning it up everyday now .. to keep it semi-empty. I now have a candle on the coffee table that I light in the evening … and no worry about setting the messy papers on fire!
