Add Yours →Thank you so much for introducing me to the Great British Sewing Bee!! So much fun to watch and I’ve learned so much. I was just looking online at Neiman Marcus and they showed me couture dresses. (Thanks to Google spying on me!) I got yo look at these clothing with a new eye.
Need to start sewing again and slowly better skills and better fabrics.
I have been looking at my summer wardrobe with a critical eye and putting those pieces I no longer love in a box for donation.
Hi, Diane! I would love a little more detail about clothing probation. Did I understand correctly that clothes one hasn’t worn for a while are worn at home once to see how they fit, look, and feel before putting them in the donate box? Many thanks!
Hi Tess, yes! It’s an easy way to make sure we don’t hang on to items that we never wear. Usually there’s a reason why we avoid wearing these items, and putting them on probation helps us make an informed decision.
A belated thank you, Diane, for your response. I appreciate it!
