This week’s skinny dip seaswims and OOTDs (outfit of the day)

It’s been a very mixed week weatherwise in Copenhagen. Blustery and cold with torrential rain several days… When my Besties and I cycled down to the sea for our morning skinnydip seaswim/breakfast on Tuesday we were wishing that we had worn gloves and our ear warmers 🧀😁 So I’ve not worn any dresses this week, it has been back into blouses/sweaters. Let’s hope the summer sun and heat return to us soon! πŸ’πŸ‘’πŸŒˆ Current sea temp is around 18c/64f and we have had plenty of jellyfish/stinging jellyfish to contend with this week…

I met up with my old friend Anne-Marie (we met each other 18 years ago when our sons started kindergarten on the same day) this week for a walk around Nyhavn/Ofelia Plads (which is rather quiet without all the foreign tourists who would usually be around), followed by summer lunch at an old favourite, Restaurant Zeleste (I first went there over 20 years ago), which is hidden just behind Nyhavn, with its beautiful courtyard. Glasses of rosΓ©…what could be more “summery”? Cheers! πŸ₯‚πŸ₯— Fresh crab open sandwich for me, Anne-Marie had “sommersalat“.

πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŒŠ On Saturday (today) we did a very brief trip to our summerhouse in southern Sweden (one hour’s drive from our home in Copenhagen). It was wonderful to get back in the Baltic for a quick dip! Though I did wear a bikini because the Swedes don’t have the same tradition for naked bathing as the Danes πŸ‘πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺπŸŽ‰
