Is there a public holiday for Ascension in your part of the world? 🌏🌏🌏 Denmark is closed for the Kristi Himmelfart (Ascension) holiday tomorrow, Thursday, so I'm running a couple of errands in the city (my Flylady "Errand Day") then a quick romantic dinner à deux with hubby in Gråbrødre Torv square 🥗😍 Then we have tickets 🎟 for the brilliant John Cooper Clarke, punk poet! 🕴 Last time I saw him live was in Scotland, when I was about 19 years old, I'm 54 now 👏😂🇩🇰 Enjoy your evening! And remember to plan some fun for yourself and your family (I organise my fun as part of my Flylady "Plan and Play" focus) 🇮🇸☀️🌦🌈 OK, get your coats on, raincoats, bring your brolly, sunhats and suncream! 👏😂 I'm bringing you with me for a full day in Reykjavik, taking you around all the sights, lunch, dinner, jazz in a bookstore...and it's gonna take less than 9 minutes! 🇮🇸👋🤩 Have you ever visited Iceland? As we say here in Denmark, there's no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing! 🇩🇰 ...but, yes, sunshine certainly helps! 👏😂☀️ Photos from Monday's after-work bikeride/skinnydip seaswim plus this morning's bike/swim with my Besties! 🇩🇰🚲🚲🚲🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️⚓️🤩 There's always a cute "hund" (dog) around 🐕😍 Hot cups of tea in our bone china teacups (we transport them in tupperware boxes for protection) ☕️ 🫖 Every day is the special occasion! Another one of our mantras... 🥳 Sea 13c/55f, air around the same 🚲l🌊🇩🇰 #whatsfordinnertonight at your place and who's cooking? 👋😃🏡 Jambalaya (with chorizo, chicken and prawns)! 🥘🍤🌶🍋Our (22 year old) son is here with us for a few days and he's a great home cook 👨‍🍳 ...I've taught him well! 👏😅 We divided the work: he's cooking the Jambalaya and I've set the table for dinner and am doing the dishes 🤩🕯🌿🍽🍽🍽 💦 In other news, I plan my menus on Tuesdays (part of Flylady "Plan and Play"). Fresh blooms from the garden - tonight is lily of the valley, so toxic but such a heavenly scent - and candles, selvfølgelig, for our Danish hygge! 🌿🌿🌿🕯🇩🇰 Coffeemaker and breakfast table set up ☕️🥣 My outfit is ready and hanging on the back of our bedroom door. 👕👖📿💄 Enjoy your evening wherever you are in the galaxy! 👩‍🚀🚀👨‍🚀 What does your Sunday look like? 👋🤩 Happy Sunday from was grey but now sunny Copenhagen! ☀️🇩🇰 Sunday is my "rest and recharge" day. Did my usual Morning Routine (as I do every day of the week - stops the overwhelm and only takes a few minutes to cover the basics). Woo hoo! 🥳 🏡 Did a short 20 minute run in the park before lunch 🏃‍♀️💨 The rhododendron in our garden are about to burst into bloom! 🏡👏😃🌸 Hubby is away on business but our son is visiting for a few days (our daughter was here last week), so never a dull moment! 😅 Dinner was a rare takeaway (I usually cook 6/7 days a week and we go out to a restaurant about once a month). My son and I are the only two in the family who like sushi so that's what we ordered and we ate it outside in the garden - yum! 🍣🍣🍣😁 What's your plan for today? Have a super Sunday! 💖 Any nice plans for today? Dog walking, working on projects, spending time with family? 👋😃☀️ Saturday mornings for me = sea swimming! ⚓️ Oh, what a wonderful morning with my Copenhagen Bluetits Chill Swimmers group! 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰😍🐦 Nothing better than welcoming a new member to our Copenhagen Bluetit flock - and, of course, the ceremony of presenting them with a special Bluetits badge/pin to mark that very special first swim! So much joy and laughter! 😃🌊🏊‍♀️ And I brought some breakfast for us, my overnight rolls (see my YouTube channel for the recipe)👏😁🥖🍯 Sea 13c/55f, air 9c/48f 🌊🇩🇰 Love this group of ladies, always a mood booster! 💙💙💙 Have a super Saturday wherever you are in the galaxy! 👋🤩 💦😁 No more bathroom horror! We've been concentrating our efforts in Flylady Zone 3 this week (the bathroom plus one other room) for cleaning and decluttering 🚽🚿🛀⏱ (See my YouTube video from this week for a 15 minute "clean with me" video and tips on hygge and self-care in this zone: https://youtu.be/_HW7FaXB40s ) 👋🤩🎥 We're not trying to clean ALL the things or crossing everything off the list! We are keeping our homes tidy and cosy. No marathon cleaning sessions - spend 5 minutes when you are already in there, showering/brushing your teeth/when the kids are in the bath 🛀🌿 Set that timer and do one thing! 🤩⏱ Remember to check your stocks of toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo etc and add to your Errand Day list 🧻🧻🧴 My "other room" this week has been our garden shed as everything is blooming here right now 🌸🌸🌸🏡👩‍🌾 (You could also choose your sewing space, laundry area, guest bedroom) 🏡 I did a quick sweep 🧹 and found some items to declutter: kids' pennyboards and a bike basket. They have already gone to new kids who will use and love them! Woo hoo! 🛹🛹👦👧😍 A few minutes here and there all adds up! 💪😃🎉 Go do something right now, I will be cheering you on with my pom poms! 🎉🎉🎉 Rah, rah, rah! 🏃‍♀️💖
