Carnival in Copenhagen!

Every Wednesday I like to write about those crazy (but lovable) Danes. You can find a lot of those posts over at http://denmark.dk/ (the official website of Denmark).

Here’s the direct link to today’s post http://blogs.denmark.dk/diane/2011/02/23/carnival-in-copenhagen/

Have a wonderful Wednesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi:
What are the exact dates of Carnival in Denmark this year? And what is the temperature at that time?
    Thanks.
    jaa

  2. Hi June! Carnival in Copenhagen was a month ago…Sunday 6 March. And the weather is usually cold with temperatures around 0 to 5 degrees celcius. And quite often snow! πŸ˜€

  3. I had the wrong city and date. The city is Aarhus and the dates are May 29 to June 1. What is the temperature like at that time?
    Thanks for your response.
    June

  4. The end of May is normally good weather – if we're lucky it'll be quite sunny and mild. Day temperatures around 15 to 20 degrees. If you go to dmi.dk you can get weather forecasts for about two weeks in advance πŸ™‚ Have fun!

  5. Thanks so much. Although since I am coming from St. Thomas, those temps will still feel rather cool. πŸ™‚

  6. I think *any* Danish temperatures will feel pretty cool compared to St Thomas! ;D

    Enjoy the festival!
