The kids finished school last Friday and are now on holiday for 6 weeks until school resumes in August – hip, hip, hooray! ๐ We’ll be spending two weeks in La Belle France with DH for our ‘official’ summer holiday, but the rest of the time we’ll be playing ‘camp’ at home. Here. In our own backyard. Copenhagen.
Yes, we’re doing Flylady Camp! ๐ You see, if you don’t sit down for 10 minutes (set your timer!) and plan a few activities, or at least make up some kind of basic summer holiday routine, those six weeks of school holidays can d-r-a-g along. Both for you and the kids ๐ Ready to give it a try? Here are a few posts I’ve written before, to help you on your merry way. These were from the Camp the kids and I did during the Danish Easter holidays, but the ideas can be adapted/used at any time.
We’re going (FLY) Camping! (contains links to Flylady printouts)
And, finally, here’s a link to the main Camp page on the official Flylady website:

Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐
PS: The blog will be closed
for the month of July.
But I’ll be back, promise!
No Diane for a whole month! I'm having a panic attack.
Have a great vacation, don't leave home without your inhaler.
AND TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES! Maybe get that gargoyle or whatever it was spitting water.
I have never really understod the flylady Camp – but after reading your posts I now learned some more. You are so clever. I`ll miss your updates in July, and I`ll be here whene you are back. Have a wonderful holiday with your family.
Hi Elisa! Thanks for all your great comments…if I need my ego massaged during the holidays, I know where to come! LOL xo
Hi Helen! Hope you'll try the FLY Camp…we just do a very basic version but it really works. Enjoy the Norwegian summer while it lasts! ๐
I second the vote to fix the gargoyle!
Of all the Flylady's ideas, the Fly camp is something I just haven't done yet. Maybe this year.
Yay! Holidays! Enjoy!
p.s. Is it wrong for me to want that orange shirt when it doesn't follow MSP guidelines?
