Fridays on the blog are for sharing things I love, love, love. Yesterday my pal Terry from school posted a video on Facebook. Now, to be perfectly honest, I’m not someone who spends a lot of time checking out youtube links to funny cats and giggling babies. But I do like a good laugh. Have I ever mentioned the film “Blades of Glory? π But, as usual, I digress!
Terry has impeccably good taste. So the links he shares are always worth a watch. You can click with confidence. Here’s a photo I took in the playground at school. Terry’s the cool one in the red jumper π
Just for the heck of it, here’s a pic of me, around the same age. On holiday with Mum and Dad, April 1982 (thank you, Dad, for writing the date on the back of the photo). Eating cake, wearing a red jumper. Red jumpers were obviously on-trend that year.
But back to that video link… I have to admit that it actually took me a few seconds to realise that what I was watching was a send up of an Amercian morning programme. (Hey, I’ve been to New York a few times. Those local news presenters are hammy. It’s hard to tell!)
Anyway, I watched and laughed. And then got totally sucked in to this fantastic website which is my new go-to place for a quick giggle. Thanks Terry! π
