Seawater is good for the soul!

A quick round up of bathing snaps from this week!

Starting off with an early morning dip with my Danish Bestie, Helene. It was very damp and dreich.

But we did enjoy a quick breakfast of homemade scones and, of course, lots of hot tea!

Velbekomme!

And just look at this wee soul, waiting patiently for his owner…

Next up a dip (this time including a bit of time in the sauna), together with my friend, Angela. And guess who we bumped into? Our friend, Sue! It’s a small (bathing) world…

Oh, and of course, more tea to fill our cups! This time I brought some chai with milk.

Then moving quickly onto another early morning dip with Helene!

Say cheese!

This time for breakfast it was Greek yogurt, chia seeds, almonds, tinned apricots and some muesli. Yum!

We could see that the seagulls had been enjoying some crabs for their breakfast, ha ha!

Remember, if you’re biking in Copenhagen right now, that it is still very cold early morning and evening, so it will be a while before you can pack away your hats, gloves, scarves, and winter coats and boots.

But it’s wonderful to start the day with a bike ride and a dip. Nothing like a blast of sea air to blow away the cobwebs!

And last, but certainly not least, a few photos from last Saturday morning.

As you know, this is when I meet up with my crazy bunch of friends, the Copenhagen Bluetits Chill Swimmers. I never know what we’re going to get up to next. Love these ladies!

And there are always some great cakes or bakes. This week was Welsh flapjacks and Irish cream toffees…

Have a wonderful day and hope you’re getting some fresh air or perhaps a change of air!

Hugs

I love your seabathing photos you all look so happy and have amazing food. My friend who lived and worked in Scotland for many years uses the term “dreich” I love it, it perfectly sums up the weather !
