February is here and we are in the final stretch of our 2026 Reset for A Better Life. Four days left with our tiny tasks where I have done all the thinking for you. Are you ready for Day 17? Let’s go! And read on for an alternative task, if today’s job doesn’t apply to you!
If you want to do a little cleaning and tidying today, then I want you to focus on this week’s Flylady Zone 2, the kitchen. Please remember that this is not a checklist, it is a list of ideas of what you might like to tackle. We are looking for progress, not perfection, making things a little bit better in just a few minutes each day.

Want me to chat and keep you company? I work along with you / bodydouble in this video series!
I’m going to look at my serving dishes (some of mine are in our dining room cabinet) and see if there are more that can go! Shouldn’t take me more than 10 minutes and I have a box ready and waiting for donations for the charity shop. Oh, and my trusty timer, of course!

Have a terrific Tuesday and see you back here tomorrow! Rah, rah, rah!
Hugs

Zone 2, it’s a short month. Work wherever you need to 👋😊
👍❤️🙏🏻
Thanks Diane 😊. I reorganised a couple of kitchen drawers with containers I’d already bought for that exact purpose. It looks great now 😁
We are electronic for most everything here as well, but my hobby is art and there are a bunch of test papers and failed paintings that everyone says I should keep for collage, but…I don’t do collage, lol. Into the trash they go, and now I have more room to create. Thanks, Diane!
Yikes! My whole house (in Toronto, Canada) is a mess of papers!! Loose papers, boxed papers, containers of various sizes holding papers… And there’s no where to put them if gathered together from the whole house. Well, I put my Solutions cap on, and decided to work by room and leave gathered papers in each room, to deal with in situ (with a timer!). Thank you, Diane, this is much needed!!
Excellent idea for January. All the letters from insurances, gas, garbage, recycling are coming in. Plus a pile of receipts from local shops. Plus children’s artwork and greeting cards we received. I just spend 20 minutes and the pile is gone. Unbelievable!!
I triaged papers on my launch pad in the kitchen and took a good look at the calendar for coming weeks. Good to feel on top of things and to be able to see the top of the desk. Cheers!
I’m channeling your outfit today! Mine is the exact same striped tee in the same color paired with the same color blue cardi!! I chose it last night, as I usually do.
Did a bunch of shredding of paper yesterday too! Am I clairvoyant?😂
Nope. Just motivated to move about!
Hahaha! Go you!! You’re definitely on the Diane wavelength it seems! That’s so awesome! 😀
Here’s my sign to deal with the pile of paperwork I need to file away hahaha?! 😀 Thanks Diane, it’s been getting a little higher than I usually like to leave it as I was having too much fun over the Summer break! But yes, back to business now! On it today and I know I’ll be feeling SO much better for the next couple of months!!! xox
