Good morning from wonderful Copenhagen where it’s below freezing again. Photos of yesterday’s chilly skinny seadip with the Besties coming up, but first, here’s my very short YouTube video with your tiny task for today. Our 2026 Reset continues!
How’s your weather? It was Blue Monday yesterday but we were bouyed by the sunshine!

But, wow, it was seriously cold due to biting cold winds…

Still smiling though!

A bit slippery underfoot so mind how you go!

And bundle up with lots of layers, earmuffs, hats, gloves and scarves or mittens!

Have a fabulous day! And check in with me when you’ve done your tiny task. Just noticing what’s ahead is a great step forward.
See you back at my kitchen table tomorrow!
Hugs

Add Yours →Been out swimming at the beach with the fam enjoying the last of the school holidays this week. Lovely Summer over here in Queensland. Australia. Definitely going to take you up on the brain dump and check out what’s coming up with the next couple of weeks etc. Back to everything next week and need a small little planning time but like you said, not going too far into it.
Wonderful to see you each day. Such a bright spot! Off to so my brain dump now🙂
I’ve been using the Getting Things Done system ever since you introduced it… how many years ago now? I fold a sheet of paper into four sections labeled Here, There, Online, and Discuss. On the reverse side, I note weekly menu ideas and itemize my grocery list. Then I drag that sheet around in a pocket or purse all week, jotting reminders to myself and checking off tasks as I complete them. A handy brain dump in my pocket, ha! Cheers.
wonderfull idea! I will copy this – I love the “here” and “there”.
Hello from frigid. snow-covered Pennsylvania!
I have been doing this for several years. It saves me from feeling overwhelmed.
My online to-do list for each day includes an area for general brain dump of what I need to remember. For my daily to-do, I have three categories: 1 most important thing to do, 2 medium importance things, 3 smaller things… I focus on the MIT – most important thing. After that is done – I do what I can. If I don’t get to it, it moves to the next day.
Have a great day everyone!
I made a brain-dump in a note-book. What a list…I really had a lot on my mind! Actually, to see all things to do makes me feel a bit stressed. But they are not in my head anymore. 🙂
I’m a great fan of lists, a running shopping list, a daily or weekly to do list and then a list of larger jobs that will need attention at some point. It really helps me to cope with the amount of things to remember. I too pick the most important thing to do that day and I love the idea in a previous comment of Getting Things Done in a single sheet of paper divided into four. Today I started my first Year Planner in a pretty notebook I had spare and will use it to write all my big ideas for the year, big tasks I want to achieve, people I want to visit, places to go, new things to try. A wish list , if I have it written down then I might achieve some of them this year, who knows.
I keep a calendar on my phone, with a duplicate paper calendar in case of wifi problems. It’s been set up for the year with the regular ongoing things; birthdays, gym training day, Bible study group. Today I need to put some hard-to-make myself do items left over from my parents’ passing so I can just be done and not dread them anymore. (There was a lot of family drama.) I feel my heart pounding just typing this. But, I’ll schedule thirty minutes one day a week and hopefully can make myself finish.
Happy Tuesday!
