Do you need a little win today?

Good morning from Copenhagen! Today on the blog, we are diving back into our 2026 Reset with another tiny task to give you a little boost. Plus some photos from hubby’s birthday dinner in the city. Are you ready to get started?

First up, Day 6 of A Better Life! Are you with me?

Want me to chat to you while you work? Use my YouTube series, I usually keep my videos short and to the point, around 15 minutes long.

And in other news, a few photos from the weekend. We had a family dinner to celebrate hubby’s birthday at Latin Geisha on Istedgade in Copenhagen. Very funky vibkes and there are three different dining rooms. Geisha, Koi and Red. We were seated in the red room…

A dimly lit restaurant interior featuring vibrant red walls adorned with Chinese characters, complemented by an array of hanging red lanterns. The seating consists of round red chairs and tables set for dining.

The lighting makes the food photos a bit weird, ha ha!

A close-up of a light blue plate filled with a dish garnished with fresh coriander, sliced radishes, and herbs, set on a red table. A silver spoon rests beside the plate.

We had the Tasting Menu and everything was delicious!

A dining menu titled 'Tasting Menu' from a restaurant called 'Latin Geisha'. Features various dishes including Tuna Thai, Mushroom Skewers, Fried Chicken, Steak au Poivre, Papaya Salad, and Médaños, along with pricing information.
A hand holding a bottle of Babiole wine by Andrea Calek, set against a vibrant pink and red restaurant interior.

Fun fishtank in the Koi dining room.

A large aquarium featuring colourful corals and various jellyfish swimming amidst bubbles, illuminated by a neon octopus sign in a dimly lit restaurant.

Cute wee diver!

A colourful underwater scene featuring a toy diver in an orange wetsuit and blue fins, exploring vibrant coral formations alongside a decorative red and white fish.

And the toilets were neon pink – like being in a disco, fun!

A smiling woman takes a selfie in bright pink light, wearing a white top and pearl jewellery.

Felt like we were back in Japan and South Korea…

A dimly lit corridor decorated with bold patterned wallpaper and neon signs indicating restroom directions, featuring vibrant purple and orange lighting.

But I digress! Let’s get on with today’s tiny task and make our little win for the day! I’m diving into the kitchen bits n’ bobs drawer! See you back here tomorrow for Day 7.

Hugs

Morning, missed you over the weekend, been looking forward to todays task. I’m going to do my bedside table today, I have a little wicker basket which has become a bit of a dumping ground, so going to give it a sort

Great! Half of my desk tidied which was there by now for half a year. OK, due to circumstances but nevertheless half a year and now space. Papers need to be put away or adressed at least part of them, but that is for some other time.

Thank you Diane for your encouragement and device. I will be clearing a surface in my bedroom today. I have been away for four days travelling and caring for my elderly father, so resuming today 💖

Happy Birthday to your hubby🎉 What a fun restaurant! As I read over the menu I kept thinking how delicious all of the food sounded. Yum! And thank you for the Monday motivation😊

Good morning Diane and happy birthday to your dear hubby! I’m loving these short videos of encouragement! This morning I’m going to look to a stationery drawer I have in the dining room buffet. I suspect there are a couple items in there that can go to the charity shop and maybe a couple more that can be pitched. Cheers!

thank you Diane for your advice to keep it simple and brief – at least to begin with.
I need to keep in mind my recent and painful sciatica, but will tackle one spot next to my kitchen that became the dumping ground when I needed extra space for holiday gatherings. This space has been “talking” to me for about a week now. It is time. And 15 minutes it will be!

That looks like a very fun restaurant you have been to for birthday celebrations.
Lovely to be back at your kitchen table and for today’s task, there were a few contenders for some attention. I chose to tidy and clean a tiled shelf next to the bath, where there are a lot of different bottles and tubes of hair products, shower and bath items etc. With a household of 5 it can get quite jumbled and messy. I use plastic storage trays to help keep things tidy, so I cleaned all those, good tidy up and recycled empty bottles. Looking forward to Day 7 tomorrow.

I’ll set a timer and tidy my bedroom today. It’s feeling cluttered, and I like it to be my calm cozy space.

Happy Monday!

Hello, I tidied up one drawer of my desk. I found some items that don”t belong there and put them into their right place. And I cleaned it with a slightly wet towel. Feels good to have this drawer tidied up. It only took 3 minutes. Thank you, also for the pictures of your night out. I love Japan.

Diane, happy birthday to your hubby. 🎉
I can’t thank you enough for this 2026 reset. It’s a wonderful very helpful tool for me. Last week I was very sick in hospital with the flu, where I was very well looked after. I watched your videos every day, pampered my hands, tidied my bedside locker, it’s amazing what you still can do. Out of hospital I went over the tasks again, and was able to get my house back in shape 5 minutes at a time, before having a nap again. Without my energy crashing that way I got more done in reconvalecense than when I was well and jumped from one task to the next in good ADHD manner 😅.

Thank you! It inspired me to just get up and clean off a very cluttered bar area (since the holidays). Yay! Have a blessed day!

I had a fun job. All my terracotta pots were left outside in the autumn because of an injury. Now that my body has healed I thought it’s time to defrost them and take them inside. I took my trusty hairdryer, a long extention cord and started melting the ice. I am so pleased! I was afraid of them cracking in the freezing cold but now they are safe.

Hi Diane! I found myself really missing your tiny tasks over the weekend. They are working wonders!!
Today, it’s my drawer of jars, containers, etc. I am going to declutter down to that capacity and chuck the rest which are overflowing. Rah rah rah!!

Closet! I’ve got all my clothes in a closet in another bedroom. Going to bring items back into the main bedroom to weed out the items i’m not wearing. Postpartum soon so it’ll be good to see what actually gets worn.

This helps sooo much! I’ve been with you since the beginning – and what a difference it has made! THANK YOU🥰 The small daily task gives me the focus & motivation to keep going🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for all of your 2026 resets! And happy birthday to your hubby. What a neat place to celebrate.
I have done each task & am tidying my closet, but I try to maintain less clutter each day, because it gives me peace.
Thanks again
I appreciate you!
