Do this today! Day Five of our 2026 Reset. And more seadipping!

Good morning! I hope you had a great start to your day after the tiny task we did yesterday! Did you add something extra? (I’m wearing my Queen Daisy bracelet!) It’s so fantastic reading all the wonderful comments that you’re enjoying these daily prompts! I designed these tiny tasks to be quick and easy – we all need a little win in our everyday lives! And when I was stuck, disorganised and didn’t know where to start, it was very comforting to have someone to tell me EXACTLY what to do. No need to think!

The weekend is on the horizon – woo hoo – and I’ve been dipping with my Danish Besties, Vibeke and Helene. Photos later in this post. But let’s get on with today’s tiny task – I hope you enjoy it! And if it doesn’t apply to you today, I’ve put some alternatives the video comment section…

You don’t need to spend a lot of time on this – just do it right here, right now. No equipment or (over) thinking required!

Three women smiling on a windy day, enjoying time outdoors. One woman in a bright pink jacket holds a bicycle helmet, while the others wear scarves and hats.

And a quick hello from my Besties! Our bike ride and skinnydip in the sea yesterday was cold, as always. Vibeke is wearing her earmuffs to dip and I’m wearing an old hat, ha ha! Watch out for the waves!

Blustery winds and grey with grey on top!

One of the seagulls left us a little present of a tiny fish…

Have a wonderful Friday!

Hugs

Hi Diane, thank you for the reminder. I am on a coffee break and started the day with my clothibg already waiting. I am wearing brown and grean, my favourie colours today. I will wash the sheets of one child today. Have a nice day.

Thanks Diane! Cheering us all on like this?! Two little actions done today for me already with the laundry so yay my work is done?!! Also went for a sea dip today with the family and I’m trying to do it as much as I can these days now! Oh, and got myself a bicycle a few months back and am now building my fitness up slowly cycling around my neighborhood with the fam a little more and more each day too?! The hills are the killer at the moment though?! Hahaha! I haven’t been on a bicycle since I was about 11 years old?! Such fun, feeling like a little kid again?! 😀

I’ve been following along but today, because I have been folowing you and also Flylady for a little while, I had already done my LOL! Thank you Diane. Feel even more ahead this morning!

After reading another follower’s comment, I was prompted to strip the guest-bedroom sheets for a satisfying load of laundry (LOL)!
Thanks again for your moment of motivation. Rah Rah Rah!!!

Load of laundry done this morning, this was an easy one for me as it is part of my morning routine to start the day, an idea from following your videos. I had a load of laundry to take out and put in the tumble dryer. It was a relief to have an easy task because Day 4 task was really hard for me yesterday and I wasn’t able to do it. I hit a block and froze. Self care? You mean taking care of myself ! I went for a swim in the local pool and reflected on it. I love seeing all your photos of bathing with friends by the way. Unless I am going somewhere, I don’t really think about clothes at home. They are my work clothes, running the home, being there for everyone and doing everything. Today I am easing into the small task, found a chair and selected some nice clothes and a sparkly snowflake bracelet ready to put on later after a bath this evening. Pat on the back for me 😊

I am loving it! We are staying away from home at the moment but the little resets have helped me stay focused and it has helped us remember to keep our nice, neat, VRBO nice and neat! JOY!

We are leaving to spend the day with my family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday but last night I did a load of laundry. It has air-dried so I’ll grab those clothes and put them away, instead of leaving them on the rack 2-3 days…

Thanks Diane, so far this week i have cleared my bedside tables, put away 10 things at least, vacuumed my stairs, got a parcel ready for returning today and today (thanks to you) I had already put my laundry on before i watched your video, as that is one routine I have mastered after following you. xxx

Since my dryer broke down I’ve been doing a small laundry a day, and hanging to dry in warm bathroom (not outside! I’m in snowing Toronto, Canada!) So for today’s wee challenge, I will do a handwash. Yesterday’s task: it’s SO nice to have outfit for tomorrow already chosen; added a necklace I keep forgetting to wear, and I still like it. Love these tips, Diane! Thank you.

Load of laundry is in. Thank you for helping my build this habit over the years. The load I chose today is the one I always put off–the microfiber cloths and other cleaning pads. I don’t like to wash them with other items and I always tell myself it can wait until I have more. Nope, not today. They are washing. Diane, thanks again!

Hi Diana,
Thank you for being so encouraging! I love all your videos and the rah rah rah. I already spent a lot of time on the laundry today, so this one was done before I watched the video. Feeling very accomplished today 🙂 bye for now!

LOL is on the go as I had already started it before the video. I usually like to do my last load on Thursday but we have had extra sheets from guests. My son does his on the weekend and myself during the week. Works for us.

I, too, have been on the LOL every morning for some time, so I took my tiny task time (TTT) to declutter one shelf of one kitchen cabinet. It’s not much, but I added a satisfying chuck of items to the garbage.
Thank you SO MUCH for a fantastic week of motivation!! Your type one energy is shining for us all this week, so I hope you have something nice planned for your weekend. Lots of hugs and appreciation from NH, USA!!

I have followed you for a long time. I remember watching a video of your morning routine and see how you always started the day by putting in a LOL. I have been doing the same for the last 5 years. Since it is a routine it hardly seems like a big deal. Folding on the other hand is still a challenge.🤪 thanks again for you motivating words. ❤️

Hej Diane! I was so jealous of your snowy kitchen window until we got snow for 18 hours straight…now I also have a lovely wintry scene from my window. Thanks for this reset. I’m really enjoying it. Have a wonderful weekend!

There r 2 or 3 work cardigans that need ironing. They have been on a chair in my bedroom for about 2 months. Generally, I don’t need to iron, but these are mega creased. So I’ll do ’em now. It’s opened my eyes to a few things watching your videos.

Thanks for the nudge to change the laundry over from the washer to the dryer! Motivated me to do 3 other little jobs along the way.

LOL getting folded here. Did a few little 5 minute things that I noticed needing done. Hot spots Momentum!! Thanks, Diane, have a great weekend!

No time today to get laundry done, so I have pre-loaded the machine and plan to start it as I head downstairs for coffee in the morning. Cheers!
