START HERE! 2026 Reset | Daily Prompts for A Better Life

Ready for our 2026 reset? I wasn’t always organised, and when I felt overwhelmed it helped so much to have someone tell me exactly what to do. That’s what we’re doing here – one tiny task a day, without overthinking.

A better life in 2026 with simple daily prompts – no pressure, just small steps together!

Today’s prompt is small and doable, even if you’re tired or just coming home from work. You don’t need to plan, write anything down, or do it perfectly – just do a little bit with me right here, right now. Don’t stop to think – just go and do it. Rah, rah, rah!

Let me know in a comment where you are in the world and what time of day it is! (Just gone 8am here in Copenhagen).

And meet me back here at the kitchen table tomorrow for Day Two of our 2026 Reset!

Hugs

It’s 1:30 here in Provo. I’ve been following you for years so all my surfaces are clean! But haven’t done any cleaning, so dusted all my end tables. Thanks for your cheerful motivation.

I’m in SE Washington State and it’s late….9:09 pm🫣😉.
Thanks for all of your wonderful encouragement. I tidied my dining room table that was full of wedding decor and serving items we are gathering in preparation for our daughter’s wedding in May and put them in the studio where I plan to organize a “staging” area for the wedding. I can’t wait to see what’s happening tomorrow….thank you😊

Thank you so much Diane! I just cleared the last of the holiday clutter from my kitchen counters and breakfast bar!

I cleared the side table of all the Christmas cards that came in this year. The photo cards of the different grandchildren are ready to be hung in place of last year’s photos, and the rest of the cards got another quick look, to appreciate the givers, then went into recycling.

Hi Diane, Wendy from the Granite Belt in Australia 🇦🇺 here.
I’ve just cleaned off my side table. It seems to gather all sorts of things.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s task.
Cheers

Melbourne Tuesday 11.30am.
Just cleared off my dining table which also forced me to clear off a little bit of a book shelf! Looking forward to these small challenges! Thank you Diane!

I cleared the folded laundry off of my DR table. Started to walk out the door, turned around, saw it, thought of Diane’s teaching on doing a 2 minute project, and decided I wanted to come home to a cleared off table.
It was a good decision 😊

Well i missed this yesterday so have just done it today and will catch up by doing todays this afternoon. Not well snd had a full on day yesterday so this was perfect for me.

I am so happy for this task. I have a chest of drawers top where I put all the things that need mending of charging or something small to do. I cleared it and did all the things that have been waiting my attention since Christmas!! I am so happy. It is next to kitchen so I look at it many times a day and everytime think that those need to be fixed! Greetings from Finland!

Kathy here from Philadelphia, PA in the USA. I had two doctor appointments on Monday (one in the AM and one in the PM) so this didn’t get done until Tuesday. I cleaned off my coffee table which seems to be a dumping ground and it made me so happy. I’m looking forward to doing the rest of this series.
