START HERE! 2026 Reset | Daily Prompts for A Better Life

Ready for our 2026 reset? I wasn’t always organised, and when I felt overwhelmed it helped so much to have someone tell me exactly what to do. That’s what we’re doing here – one tiny task a day, without overthinking.

A better life in 2026 with simple daily prompts – no pressure, just small steps together!

Today’s prompt is small and doable, even if you’re tired or just coming home from work. You don’t need to plan, write anything down, or do it perfectly – just do a little bit with me right here, right now. Don’t stop to think – just go and do it. Rah, rah, rah!

Let me know in a comment where you are in the world and what time of day it is! (Just gone 8am here in Copenhagen).

And meet me back here at the kitchen table tomorrow for Day Two of our 2026 Reset!

Hugs

It is raining overhere, the snow is melting away. Have a Nice day!

1158 in Dubai. Just having a very late morning cup of tea at work – I work in a school & all the Secondary students are off campus for Sports Day today so no set breaks. Really looking forward to getting back to some routines after a 4 week Winter break from school & work in the UAE this year!

9.30 here in Germany (Rhein-Main). I’m saving your video for lunchtime. Working from home today, with a wee bit of snow outside and predictions of black ice. Thank you, Anne

The clock is 09:43 in Sweden. I am sitting on a bus. Immediately when I come home I know exactely what surface to clean. 🙂 Thank you Diane for your energy and cheering.

I came home too late from work, 19:30. But I did it! The surface I planned to organize is now decluttered and organized. Go me!! 💪

Hello Diana,
Greetings from a rainy Burgundy France.
It’s almost 10 o clock, just had my daily walk with the dog 🌧️
Have a nice day and everyone

Good Morning Diane – It’s 7:40 am here in Rhode Island (USA), sunny and cold. Finishing up breakfast and then out to walk dogs! A quick desk clean up later.

9:47 here in the UK, WFH and did this during my tea break. Cleared the kitchen island and table in the time it took the kettle to boil. Great energy Diane for a Monday morning, thankyou x

It’s 9.39pm here in NSW Australia and I’ve just come home after having dinner at my daughter and son in law’s. They have two boys aged 6 and 19 months so I love spending time with them and my grandsons 😁

Happy New Year Diane. Love the idea of doing a small task with you every day. I always look forward to your videos. I had a bit of a late start this morning due to lack of sleep. I have already had a good reset after Christmas with surfaces, so I did find a corner on my kitchen worktop that did need a tidy and clean. I feel much better for doing a small thing. Thank you for being there to help motivate me.

Thank you Diane, almost 9am here in South Florida. I’ll clear off the desk that has been a catch all for too long. Have a great day!

Good morning! It’s 8:56 am in New Hampshire USA and counter #1 is clean and clear in my kitchen (and my morning routine is complete). I can hear Diane’s “woo hoo” in my mind! 🙂
Happy 2026 everyone!

It is 8:55 here in Florida, USA. Having a cold snap from an arctic blast, only in the 60s here. This is our winter home, not as much stuff here, yet. My suitcase needs to put away, now that I have completely unpacked it.

I’m trying to complete the little things that no one but me cares about – like hanging the new curtains I bought or doing the puzzles I got for Christmas or using treadmill- some are projects&some are habits but I procrastinate on both. I want to change that. I’m 81. When am I going to get it done if I don’t start pretty soon. Right now, it’s 9:07 am EST in New Hampshire USA.

Hello from Salt Lake City, UT. It’s 7:06am. Enjoying a cup of coffee before I get my day started. I am looking forward to a much needed reset for 2026! Thank you!

Hi Diane,
Greetings from Utah, USA. It is 8:00 am. I made sure to clear the clutter from my kitchen table this morning before I left for work. I am a long time follower. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. You truly are one in a million.

Good morning from Philadelphia!
My first task will be to clear off and organize my bedside table.
Since being sick for a month, it became quite a catch-all.
It will be wonderful to clear it out, as a good-bye to illness, and create a little beauty. Ah… maybe a small plant and essential oil diffuser?

Good Morning, Diane! I’m in Gainesville. Georgia, and always appreciate your inspiration. I tidied before bed last night and don’t have a quick surface to clear this morning. I’m working on my office/ craft room and that’s a job!

Mischief managed! I cleared the LR coffee table of gardening catalogues and cookbooks from the local library. Always inspired reading. I will tidy my nightstand too.

It’s 9:30am in North Carolina (USA) under a Carolina blue sky. Baby lettuces and herbs are tucked snugly into their cold frames, and everyone is happy and well. Blessings abound. Cheers!

Hi Diane, It’s 6:47am in California. I will be cleaning one of my end tables in the living room today. I still have two Christmas items on it. Time to put away! Thanks for the gentle nudge!!!

Good Morning Diane! I’m in Hamilton Ontario, Canada..it’s 9:50am…I keep my place pretty tidy but took 5 minutes to put some stragglers away…a cookbook here, a workout outfit there…done! And it does make a difference..thanks.

Désolé, j’ai oublié de dire d’où je viens, de Montréal Québec.

Merci Diane, j’apprécie beaucoup ce que vous faites.

This morning the junk removal came, (estate clearance). It required clearing the hall to facilitate arrival of large items. I’ve been taking your advice for a few years, baby steps, 5 minute tasks etc. Now they departed, time to clean up these now open spaces and clean what remained. Taking it one task at a time here in NJ. Thank you, Diane for helping me take these steps and not feel overwhelmed!

Hi Diane. It’s 7:34 here in The far north of California. Eureka! The kitchen table is free of the stack of papers and magazines.

Hi Diane, thank for keeping it short and simple. I am here In Gibsons, British Columbia (on the Sunshine Coast – haha, it’s raining!) recovering from a broken hip. I can still do this task though, no excuses.
Thanks for all you do!

Hi Diane
It’s 1:10 pm in Florida. One tiny task to be done when I get home from work.
