It’s been a busy week, full of festive fun! First up was the Christmas Bazaar at the Swedish Church of Copenhagen on Saturday afternoon.
Erika, Angela and I had to queue to get in…it’s very popular!
Plenty of parking space for prams!
We tried our luck at the various tombolas. But, alas, no Dala horse for us this year…
It was a freezing day (after a couple of days of snow), so we warmed up with a glass of Swedish gløgg and some pepparkakor.
Yum!

Ships hanging from the ceiling are a common sight in Danish and Swedish churches…
On Sunday morning Angela and I met up and worked out at the gym. It was a cardio class = red faces, ha ha!
Then we visited a local Christmas craft market, housed in a very pretty old farm building.
Angela bought some homemade cream toffees, jam and Christmas cookies. I love looking at the paper decorations.
There were lots of hand-knitted and crocheted items for sale.
No Danish Christmas would be complete without candles!
So pretty in the snow!
Then later this week I attended a festive wreath-making workshop organised by my international ladies club.
Always fun to play with fresh foliage and candles…

And last, but not least, a quick but very hygge lunch in the city with Sue, Marianne and Dawn on one of the coldest, dreich days of the year!
Sue had invited us to an Icelandic café called Gudrun’s Goodies in the Pisserenden area (Latin Quarter).
We all had ot lamb soup with bread and butter – delicious!
