Happy Thursday from Copenhagen! 😃🇩🇰🎄Thursday is Errand Day in Flylady Land but I did my shopping earlier this week, catching up for a fun hour with my Bestie, Erika from America! @erikabirch_artanddesign 💖😁 We love to support local stores and AKIMBO, a teeny tiny basement boutique in a quiet sidestreet off Strøget (Copenhagen's busiest pedestrian street) is one of our absolute favourites! 👏😍 I bought a few small Christmas gifts and, Lis, the owner, wraps everything beautifully! ✂️🎀🎁 Thank you, Lis! (This is also the place where we buy our "København" tin mugs for winter swimming 😁🏊‍♀️🌊❄☕️) Do you have a favourite local shop, bookstore or farmers' market? 🛒📚🥕😍 👋🤩 Who is joining us this year??! In today's YouTube video... We are running/walking 5k every day for charity. Or do whatever you can... Treadmill, walk the dog, count your steps, swim at the pool, do yoga before breakfast, walk instead of taking the car, use your bike instead of the car, power walk at the mall 🏃‍♀️🧘‍♀️🚲🧘‍♀️ Whatever you choose, it all counts! 🥳 Getting exercise in December is a fantastic mood lifter - good for your body and your mental health! 🎄🎄🎄😁 I will be checking in with you regularly during the month! ✅️✅️✅️ Check in with me here when you have done YOUR exercise today! Or perhaps you've been procrastinating on your self-care??! 🤔 I love to read in bed, before switching off the light 📚 and yesterday I finished a thoroughly entertaining Agatha Christie (Dumb Witness) which I had picked up from our local free book exchange. I also love to listen to audiobooks while I clean 🧹💦 and this one-hour BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie (Five Little Pigs) was great company too! 🎧 We keep all our Christmas library books on top of the piano, ready to delve into whenever we need a little break 🎄📚📚📚🕯🎄😍 (See Monday's YouTube video for a list of my favourites - https://youtu.be/kMpYpqkLE6g ) 🎥 Maybe you can set your timer and "tinkle the ivories" today!
