Your homework from Our Best Life Planning was to reach out to someone you hadn’t connected with for a while…making a call, sending a text or meeting in person. I met up with my friend Holly for lunch at Nyhavn, the famous harbour in the centre of wonderful Copenhagen!
We enjoyed some traditional Danish open sandwiches on one of the boats…
Salmon salad smørrebrød for Holly, prawn and egg for me.
The smørrebrød was so-so, but we had the best seat in the house (or should I say boat, ha ha?), on the top deck with all the canal boats passing by.
The smørrebrød were quite small so we had room to share a Basque cheesecake for dessert. Yum!
And chilled drinks, selvfølgelig, as it was a roasting hot Danish summer day! Sauvignon Blanc and Apérol Spritz…
