On my blog today… Happy Sunday from Copenhagen! We are getting back to basics with some simple cleaning!
What’s the one area in your kitchen that always seems to collect clutter? The windowsill or kitchen table? The “bits and bobs” drawer? Let me know in the comments—I bet we all have the same spots!
The Danish summer holidays are nearly over and I’m slowly getting back into my Flylady Zone cleaning. I’ll be back filming new YouTube videos very soon, but for now I’m shaking my pom poms and cheering you on from behind the scenes – rah, rah, RAH! If you haven’t worked it out by now, this week we are heading back into Zone 2 – the kitchen, so grab your timer and let’s just do something!
Need a quick win to get you started?
Here are 4 easy-peasy ideas for this week:
Wipe down the fronts (or the shelves) of one or two kitchen cupboards.
Tidy out one drawer (just ONE!) This is my spice drawer.
Toss any expired items from the fridge or pantry.
Wash out your utensil tray or caddy, or declutter anything stained or broken.
My wooden spoons make me smile!
Pop on some music or body-double with me using one of my kitchen cleaning and decluttering videos!
You can also use my Flylady Zone 2 cleaning list if you’re in the mood to do more—but remember, you don’t need to do it all this week. This is an ongoing process!
I always listen to music or an audiobook on my headphones while I work. And I use a timer. Just 5 or 10 minutes here and there over the week makes a world of difference!
Let’s make things a little better – one drawer or space at a time. Let me know which kitchen mission you choose!
Hugs
